hello stranger...

Upon the request of my blog address, I myself paid it a visit and to great dismay have found it in a horrible state. I truly hope to make blogging a routine activity and without further ado would love to share with you all some updates within our sweet family.

As I left you with Easter eggs and sunshine, it is now full swing Yuletide season! I am so excited about the holidays this year with my two running, climbing, squealing sweethearts.

We put up our pitiful Charlie Brown Christmas tree Sunday. It stands nearly 3 and half feet on our dining room table as to keep it away from ever curious fingers... twenty of them to be exact. I am thankful Evie and Graham are still at an age that their Christmas list is quite simple as I am sure they will be requesting iPhones next year. :)

We hope to get them both riding this year and of course plenty of books and movies. I love watching them learn and discover. We truly take for granted the magic of exploration in our age I believe.

As always, I wish I could hug them tight enough to keep them small, but each day they grow more. Not only shoe sizes, but also their personalities are growing and changing each day. My sweet Evie Kate keeps us all quite entertained and is most content when alone, talking and giggling to herself. I can't wait to play a part in her make believe circus and tea parties. :)

Graham is melting my heart these days with his hugs, often at least 11 in a row. He squeezes just as tight as he can saying, "Eeeeee....". My heart nearly explodes with joy. I am ever so thankful that he also LOVES to clean up be it sweeping, dusting or simply putting ever piece of tupperware perfectly in order and each toy in the toybox.

Our vocabularies are growing as well.... Evie Kate now says, Mama, Dada, Bye Bye, Toot Toot, No, Uh Oh, Baby, Belly, Toes, Eyes, Nose, Socks, Duck, Quack, Dog, Woof, Night Night, Tip (Teapot Song), Hello... I think that about sums it up. Graham says, Mama, Dada, Bye Bye, Uh Oh, No, Five (High Five), Eyes, Nose, Toes, and Choo Choo.

As they grow more and more each day, my love grows as well. I can not imagine my hands, nor heart being any fuller. I am so blessed with love and family.

-K
